They were surprised and hopefully excited when psychohist arrived upstairs with a large brown bag that he handed to me. It certainly looked like it could contain enough Chinese take-out to feed my entire gaming run. Imagine their shock and disappointment when it turned out that the bag was full of needles and fertility medications.
In spite of my optimism of the previous post, Village had managed to fumble my order and it was not waiting for me on the porch. I called them, but the office was closed. They gave me the option of calling an emergency medication contact. Since a quick search had revealed that I had an unopened vial of lupron and plenty of needles left over from last time I decided that it could wait for Tuesday. When I called I was relieved to find out that the reason the medication wasn't delivered was human error, because as bad as the person at Village evidently felt about screwing it up, an insurance tangle would have been a lot more annoying to try to deal with.
