Odds and Ends

Today is cycle day one. I just called the clinic, but they are 'temporarily closed for a staff meeting'. I guess I get to try again later. I am so ready to start suppressing for the next IVF.

On a similar note, I went to the gym this morning. Sure, that's not odd. The odd thing is I went to the gym on cycle day one where I woke up with cramps. I think I may have done it before post-lap, but the novelty factor is still there. Before my surgery there is no way that would have happened. I used to wonder what the heck people were smoking when they suggested that I exercise to get rid of menstrual cramps. If I had cramps I was in not condition to exercise. If I did anyway (usually because some serious dance thing was in conflict with my body's diabolical sense of timing), it certainly did not make the cramps go away. In fact, on a number of occasions I made myself ill by overdoing it on cycle day one. Things are better these days.

In other news, the handbag doom has a temporary solution. I recalled yesterday that my sister had given me a small handbag as a present a couple of years back. Its not quite large enough for a permanent replacement, but it will certain do nicely for a week or so until I can go shopping. Sisters are such useful things.

Warren and I saw The Devil Wears Prada over the weekend and it was funny. Highly recommended.
