Some yarn pics
Since people were interested, here's a picture of the baby-sweater-from-sock-yarn so far. Not a lot of progress because of the small guage and the two false starts with getting to the same place in the yarn pattern, but I like it. socksweater1 The swiss army knife and dollar coin are to hold it down so it doesn't curl up on itself as stocking stitch is inclined to do. This is my current Warcraft knitting. (I knit during gryphon flights & boat rides in World of Warcraft. If someone at Blizzard reads this they may be rethinking their philosophy on game transportation.)

I am naughty and have multiple projects going at once. My current crochet project is currently zipping along. babysquares1 Since I'm way better at crochet this makes a good thing to work on whilst GMing or de-stressing from work. I barely need to spare two neurons for this. In the not too distant future this will be Kaden's second blanket.

I also have another knitting project going, the one I take to work and do at lunch and while waiting for doctor's appointments. No pictures of that one yet, but I'm thinking about writing a post about that.

And of course, I have to show the picture Margaret sent of Kaden wearing the sweater, hat and booties I made for him. kadenhome This is his coming home from the hospital picture. Clearly the 0-3 month size was a bit generous for a petit 6 lb 5 oz baby, but I expect they are fitting better already. This picture is a good example of how to make a knitter/crocheter very, very happy. Nothing is quite as nice as seeing a photo of someone wearing/using your handmade gift.
