7 months for one bow
The very first week we did Molten Core, back in the late-March/early-April timeframe, a very nice bow dropped. My character bid and got it. We were happy, but we needed one for his character too. We went to Molten Core nearly every week, with the exception of about a month or so when the guild organizing the raid had drama-related issues. That bow did not drop again until last weekend. Keep in mind that the only thing standing between us and a better bow at this point is the lack of an Onyxia run and our determination not to use the warlock method to kill the last demon, the latter of which we might get over should we get the sinews. Its nice that we finaly have the second bow, but the wait was far too long.

I am starting to really look forward to the new honor system, if only as a more sure-fire means of upgrading our equipment.

Pesky drops!

I've got it from several competent authorities that an Eye of Divinity will drop 40% of the time from Domo in MC. I've still never seen one, let along been at the top of the list to get one. Sigh... It's not completely ludicrous yet, in that I've only seen Domo killed six times, but sometime soon, I'll start disbelieving...

Re: Pesky drops!

I believe the eye is a myth. Our raid has defeated Domo something like ten times and the leaf has dropped every single time. To make matters worse, the other two hunters that are most often there are from the guild orgainzing the raid, which does not allow its members, even hunters, to use bows for RP reasons. The priests are getting pretty annoyed, and so am I for that matter. I want the priests to have Benediction.
