Yesterday, while looking for directions to the Wellesley office of Harvard Vanguard I stumbled across the bio for Dr. Grace. It turns out she did her undergrad at MIT. I asked her what year she was, wondering if we'd overlapped at all. It turns out she was two years behind Warren. The conversation then segued into standard MIT lingo, much to the confusion of the nurses and receptionists listening in.
Dr. Grace: I was 6-1. Me: Really? 6-1? Dr. Grace: 6-1 and 7. Me: Ah, that makes sense. I was 8 and Warren was 22.
And it went on a bit from there. I wonder what it says about me as a person that I really enjoy having a conversation about college majors that casual bystanders can't understand.
