A Nasty Realization
I just had the nasty realization that timing might be a serious issue this month. You see, this weekend is the Long Island Scottish Games, which means that I'm going to be in my childhood home with my parents from late Friday night through Sunday morning, otherwise known as cycle days 12 through 14, otherwise known as 'think of England' time. Eit!

I never even dated before I got to college. Much as my parents desperately want a grandchild, I'm not sure I can bring myself to engage in procreational activities in the same house as them, especially when its the house I grew up in. Ugh. I guess we can make do with just before and just after. Still, ugh.

I admit it, I'm a prude.

Ah yes ... nothing is quite the mood dampener as parents in the next room. Any chance you'd go for a midnight beach rendezvous?

It's okay. Really. I mean, where did they make you? In their house. I say go for it. :-)

Actually, technically the didn't. We moved into the house in question when Mom was preggers with Margaret. :) There's a big psychological difference between a nice house in the suburbs and a small shabby apartment in NYC. :)

Heh. Ok, I was afraid the details would prove to be something like that. :-) Still...

nah, clearly, time to investigate interesting parts of the city/neighborhood. you even have an excellent excuse when the cop talks to you.

not that i've ever had a cop ask me what was up. but hey, gotta live vicariously through my friends...
