margaret travelled better than expected. she cried for the last hour of both the trip out and the trip back, but was otherwise was a model of good behavior. i don't blame her for crying either, it's a long drive. i was really worried that once she got there she would pull one of her 1am to 4am wakeful periods, but just the opposite happened. she slept through the night for the first time ever. she did it again the next night. back home last night she did not sleep through the night, so i am not done with 2am nursing, but it was nice while it lasted.
we have more proof we got the right embryo -- she stopped fussing when the pipe band marched past.
she nursed nearly constantly at the games. we thought it was because she was getting dehydrated in the heat, but she's doing it again today. i will leave why this entry is all lowercase as an exercise for the reader. maybe it's a growth spurt.
