Non-Standard Milestones

First trip to Mary Chung's at four days old. Not bad. Mary even gave her a little red envelope for good luck, and all the waitresses came and had a look at her, though they were a bit shocked that I was toting her around so soon.

I've been told it's much easier to tote babies around at this age, because they spend most of the time sleeping anyway.

She certainly spends most of her time asleep - I'd guess 16-20 hours a day. She also tends to be pretty quiet even when awake; mostly she just moves her eyes around looking at things.

Yeah. I hear the acceleration couches do a great job. She's probably safer in that than taking a walk around in a sling.
