How I spent my weekend
People make conversation sometimes by asking me if I did anything over the weekend. I never do much these days that a co-worker might find interesting, but I've been having some fantastic weekends lately. Having the right company makes all the difference.

I've said it before and I'll say it again - animal print suits her. :)

Yesterday morning when I got an hour with her, she was dressed in animal print and had her pink floral shoes on. One of the first things she did after turnover from Elizabeth was to pick up one of her beige teddy bear shoes - the same as in the picture - and hold it up to me. Usually she holds up one of my shoes to mean she wanted a walk, but when she saw me puzzled, she held up one of her feet, too.

I guess that contrary to all previous data in the world, pink does not match everything after all! Either that, or animal print cannot be worn with flowers. I promptly changed her shoes.

I'm not worried about its being a latin preference, though. She'll watch standard finals raptly, but gets bored with the latin finals. She'll just have to get a leopard print ballgown.

I knew I'd seen one recently, and I finally found it: http://img2.timeinc.net/ew/dynamic/imgs/090518/Dancing-with-the-Stars/cheryl-burke-809-foxtrot_l.jpg

Maybe you can buy it and hold it in reserve. :-) It's even combined with red like her outfit here.

One more piece of data on the latin versus standard thing: it turns out she's happy to watch a Burns & Fairweather show....

Well, really, who isn't? Even the most die-hard standard person I know was happy to see Burns and Fairweather in Utah at the Pro Worlds.... ;-)
